In 2009 Queensland Branch commenced training Venturers, Rovers and Leaders under VET requirements for some adventurous activities, including abseiling, canoeing, kayaking and bushwalking.
Vocational education and training (VET) provides skills and knowledge through a national training system. These qualifications are nationally recognised and transferable.
